Our friends Susanne & Alvinia (that we met in my original Mothers group in St Kilda when Lily was 6 wks old) came to visit us this week. They've been in Germany for over a year, and are now back in Oz for a while. It was really lovely to catch up face to face as we have maintained our friendship via emails and blog updates. The girls had a great time playing together after Lily overcame her grumpy mood with a quick sleep. Alvinia speaks German, but can also understand English, it was amazing to see the 2 girls communicating so easily together without any language barriers. I also enjoyed the day and hope to spend more time getting to know each other.
