Oh the summer rain is soooo beautiful, I would be happy to watch it fall all day & go for walks in my garden to admire the shiny plants. I've bee busy planting a vege patch this week and just as I finished mulching it the rain came down...and hasn't stopped yet, just perfect. Lily loves to go outside on the little balcony when it's raining and catch water in her water can. I really wanted to get a water tank going this week, but it hasn't happened yet, have a new compost bin though, exciting stuff!
Had a nice week, sharing a picnic with Jo, Kaisy & Liam and relaxing in the peaceful trees at Jo's place. I also went out Friday night to dinner at a Thai place in Upwey to celebrate Jo's B-day, Happy Birthday Jo. It was the first time I have been away from Lily at night and I lasted a little over 2 hours before I caved and had to see her. Of course she was fine and in good hands with Daddy, I just missed her ohhhhh! I had a lovely time at dinner and my king prawns were delicious.
Today we wanted to go to the Upwey festival but it was cancelled due to the ceaseless rain. We 3 still went into the town and had lunch at the new cafe, very simple food & great muffins; also somewhere I felt comfortable taking Lily. After lunch we had a wander around the fairy shop and took a couple of pics in the gorgeous fairy grotto.
