Oscar's Alehouse opened last Friday night, the bar looked spectacular & hopefully for Gyp & Brad their hard work will pay off. Unfornatley I could only stay for about half an hour, although I still got dressed up to celebrate the occassion. Stell stayed on for a little longer to christen the bar and indulge in a few beers with the Upwey crowd. (no pics)
We three had a nice weekend, I had my hair cut & coloured on Saturday while Stell and Lily played, then we 3 put up our Christmas tree, which Lily thinks is very special. We didn't do any renovating, gardening, planning etc, just enjoyed our home & each other's company.
On Sunday we went to the top of the mountain, Olinda where there was a festival on, food, music, kids things etc. It was great to get out and explore the mountain together. Then home to dinner and a movie...ahhh it was good to unwind.
Lily has been practicing her walking, taking 5-6 steps at a time, usually holding a large object like a cushion or big teddy. She has also discovered DVDs and is fast becoming a fan of the Teletubies (thanx Jo;)
Lil's and I went to a couple of story times this week & did some x-mas shopping at Knox, which I was originally scared of but it's now my local hang out.
The year is flying by, Christmas is almost here and another weekend rolls on in....
