We enjoyed a chilly yet fun day today. Starting off early with lots of snuggles in bed, followed by a trip to the shops to spend some pocket money. Lily bought 2 (clones) Monster High dolls (the new craze around here) & Sage bought a nerf toy. The girls shopped together as did the boys, then we met up for a sushi lunch.
Back home to bake a delicious chocolate banana bread to share with Grammy & Pa for afternoon tea. Many a performance were staged by Lily & Sage over the day. We (the audience) were treated to break dance style gymnastics by Sage & Pinnochio tunes from Lily's up coming school stage show ( which we will be seeing on thursday night). Much fun was had by all.
We finished off the day with a yummy sunday roast, some puzzles, board games & stories before bed. I watched the abc show "Time of our lives", which I'm loving. Nothing like seeing your old park (Alma rd) on tele to make you home sick. And tonight it was the port melbs bay right at the end of L&R's street!
The kids are back into the swing of term 3 school & kinder, also swimming lessons. Both kids have been blossoming with confidence as of late.
Stell's been working hard a long hours. I've been busy sewing my little up in the cloud singlets (which you can see over here & booking a few spring/summer markets.
All is well here in the hills (apart form the proposed Mc Donalds causing unrest among the community).
The weather is icy today & I picture snow somewhere nearby. The chickens are growing bigger, almost full size. I believe one is a rooster, probably destined for a new home.
The spring flowers are starting to appear, with jonquils wafting their dreamy scent on the wind. Not so good with the veges, just too much early morning frost, although the broad bean seeds Sage & I planted a few weeks back have popped up. Sage is sure they will grow far up to the clouds!
