Weekend in July

I mowed the lawn on Saturday & did lots of weeding and tiding on Sunday. I felt great to be out side in the gorgeous garden (the same cannot be said for the rest of my cave dwelling screen loving clan!).

I also sewed a parliament of owls (thank you for that term Marlene), which my little stylist Lily arranged beautifully for me.

The boys went shopping for a new kid friendly laptop & came back with one!

Lily enjoyed a tea party to celebrate her friends birthday, but didn't feel up to going to another of her friends birthdays today, instead she came and helped me with the grocery shopping.

Bring on spring & some budding flowers :)
