Today's adventure: packed the kids in the car with a picnic, drive up the mountain for a little walk in the forest. Left picnic in car until after "little walk". Ended up on some random never ending, beautiful deep forest muddy track, thought we were almost back to our car, water & picnic..... We emerged in the middle of nowhere familiar, 2.5 km's later. Tried using phone gps but fail. A kind passerby came along and offered to walk back, get her car and pick us up! What a lovely woman. Lily, Sage & I were so thankful, yay rescued, picnic back on track....win :)
