Bathroom improvements

The bathrooms really taking shape now, looking much cleaner and brighter. Roger and Stell took out the old basin and replaced it with a lovely new one, with a water saving tap and new cabinet. Vast improvement as now the kids can turn on the tap to wash their own hands. Plus we now have cupboard a under the sink that wasn't there before, and who doesn't love storage.

We moved the wooden medicine cabinet form above the basin to the wall above the toilet, painted the shelf underneath white. Hung above the sink, took out the wooden shelf along the wall to the right of the sink and replaced it with a small shelf with towel hook. We also put in one more cupboard with a power point stashed inside for electric tooth brush, razor etc.

We put up the pretty white bird blind from ikea, which I love and would like to put on all the windows in the house :)

Still have tiling to do around basin area, and possible remove slate from floor and re-tile. I'd also like to put in a deeper bath. Over all it's looking great, a cheap DIY that improved the use of the room for us all.
