Happy Birthday to you my gorgeous nephew xxx

Phoenix's & mates
Yesterday we celebrated Phoenix's 7th Birthday at Caulfield Park, the weather was kind and it didn't rain a drop, although the wind prevented us from lighting the bday candles...but that made it all the quicker for the kids to get to the cake. It was great to see Beanz so excited and happy, having an awesome time playing with his friends. Arwen, Mia, Jo, Kia & Liam all came too, it was nice to watch the younger kids playing with the older ones.

I still have never ending jobs to do around the house, and so little time to do them, although I am home most days. I just find the time travelling by so quickly, and it's difficult to start things while Lily is sleeping as she could wake at any moment, and I may find myself with wet paint in places I don't want it. We do some gardening together, mainly on the balcony, which Lil thinks is pretty tasty.

I took Lily to a storytime with a bunch of babies her age last week, she just loved it, clapping and singing in her high little voice...too cute. She has become such a chatterbox, and just loves her Daddy's scooter, she yells out in excitement & slight fear whenever she sees Stell riding it home.

I can't believe Lily is almost one. It's been a full on year for us all, life changing and in retrospect challenging at times but over all fabulous!

Ah, have been waiting to read from you again. Just love the picture from Lily on the balcony gardening. I can so understand you. If it wasnt for my parents I would probably still be sitting between unpacked boxes. No idea how I would have managed a move to the uk. So good we didnt go there.
