Sweet Lily

We are finally over the whole controlled crying ordeal, and Lily is once again confident to play on her own & explore different rooms in the house. She has recently started pulling herself up on furniture and strengthening her muscles, readying herself to walk. She is also waving now and saying "Bye" which is very sweet.

Today was a warm one, and Stell & I decide to take it in turns to mow the lawn, it looks great now such a satisfying thing mowing. Our fruit trees are blossoming & smelling gorgeous, actually the aroma in the backyard is intoxicating, jasmine, rose, apple blossom & native frangapani all melting together...yummy!

I went to a 2nd hand baby market today in Upwey (not 2nd hand babies ;) and picked up heaps of great bargains for Lily. Mum and Phoenix came up today and spent the arvo with us just lazing around and enjoying the warmth.

Lily and I ventured to St Kilda on tuesday, where we visited Nicole, kids & beautiful new teeny tiny baby Siobhan. We also popped in to our old playgroup to catch up on the baby goss. Was great to see how much all the bubbas had developed and grown. The old neighbourhood looked kinda grotty and sad, although the sushi was great. Can't seem to find any in these here hills, but I guess that's okay I've now got gas connected in my kitchen, yay!

'Sweet Lily' is so very appropriate she is, in my eyes growing more beautiful by the day, if that is possible.
I am sure she has a nature to match.
I am looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks for Lily's 1st birthday.
Love and hugs Great-grandma
