Sunshiney day

Today the sun shone warm and sweet, with the scent of spring in the air everyone seem to have a little bounce in their step.

Lily began her day in pink and yellow, complete with daffodils to herald the fund raising for cancer day at school. Did you donate? it's not too late to show you care about cancer research.

Jo had Sage and Zoe for most of the day, which left me free...free to mow the lawn with my push mower, weed the vege patch, hang washing on the line, breathe the pretty, sunny scented air. I drank fresh pineapple juice and watched the clouds for a minute. Then took myself of to the library for an hour to peruse the words and pictures hidden on the shelves.

Earlier this week I had a hair cut, or rather large chop, taking my over dried long locks to a much healthier and manageable length felt long overdue. The results are pretty good, although there is nothing like a nice full bun, gonna be a long while until I rock one of those!

Sage surprised me last night by writing everyones name in the family! Until tonight I've not seen him show any interest in writing or drawing. I was stunned to say the least, he had spelt everyones name correctly and made a brilliant effort. Sage was incredibly proud of himself, as was I.

Lily lost one of her top front teeth last week, after many months of wobbling & trying her best to remove the tooth in a pain free manner, it fell out on its own! The tooth fairy came in the wee hours of night and Lil woke to find one of each coin! A very generous fairy indeed. Her happy little smile is oh so sweet, and many more baby teeth are ready to be made into pearls for fairies.
