A fun day out, despite the constant rain we made it in to the city and began the fun exploring the NGV. The kids loved the water wall at the entrance & marvelled at the stained glass roof as they lay on the floor in the Great Hall. There was also an amazing dome built from plastic buckets that housed plants on the outside, the interior had little tables complete with iPads giving electronic tours of the galleries exhibitions. An interactive music space was explored, ping pong was played & hot chocolates enjoyed.
Next up the kids & G&G enjoyed the magic of the Flying Fruit Fly circus at the art Centre. From the stories and excitement after the performance I caught the feeling it was a fun show! I wandered in the gallery, Beatles exhibition & gorgeous gift shop whilst the family enjoyed their show. A lovely rainy day.
SO many activities already these holiday, Bounce inc on Sunday, Lily went on an excursion on Monday to Healsville Sanctuary & all 3 of us at he cinema watching the Lego Movie yesterday. Tomorrow will be a quieter day, with some pantry restocking, baking perhaps & maybe some crafty goodness.
