Thankfully the 4 day heatwave is finally over! There's only so much chlorine & indoor time one Mumma can take! Today was a slice of paradise, throwing open the windows & doors and enjoying the sun outside.
We started with karate in the morn, a little bit of op shopping, morning tea at the local cafe, home, a visit from Jo & Zo.
Followed by a trip into town to a fundraiser. The fundraiser was for a local family whose young son is very unwell. Donate here if you would like to help this family take their son to Germany, where there are treatment options that may be able to extend his life. I bid in a silent auction and was the highest bidder for this huge box of organic products. Very lucky indeed.
The day turned to night, dinner, baths, a movie with the kids, planning our next road trip & some crochet & now some sleep.
