Pyjamas rule!!

We started early with a 9am karate class in Tecoma that Sage had been very eager to try. He had a great time and can't wait to enrol and get his karate outfit. Lily is also keen to enrol, although she didn't join in as it was the "little kids group".

After Karate we drove through the rainforest to Kalista to eat a yummy breakie and bird watch through the scenic window. A spot of opp shopping...well 5 oppies later we all had a bargain or 2 :)

A wee bit of tomato planting in the vege patch & some hay for the chicken coop before the rain came down.

Together time for the kids and I, snuggling and reading stories. We even flipped through and organic gardening book and had a giggle at all the crazy looking chickens available. I want to extend our coop & get a couple more chickens, Lily would like a fluffy little bantam.

Spring is just around the corner,  the pretty blossoms are abundant, and the trees are alive with birds. I spent a couple of hours on friday working in the yard, mowing, weeding, planting & pruning. It looks lovely out there, it really is a special time of year. :)
