A fairly quiet weekend at home, with everyone recharging after the beginning of the new school/kinder routine. Stell took the kids to their swimming assessment yesterday so we could determine what level classes they should attend. They both did really well and will have weekly lessons for the next few months. After our beach holiday we realised how much the kids need to learn swimming skills. They have both been progressing so much over the last couple of weeks.
I went to the hospital to meet Arwen's new baby girl Lotus, who arrived less than an hour before I did at the hospital. It was so lovely to meet her, the wait had been a long one with her eta 3wks ago. Everything went well and both parents and baby are doing well.
Today I made a new doll Pretty Poppy who you can see over at my other blog :)
The kids have been playing so well this past week, all the toys have been out, crafting & the making of mud-pies and cakes on the balcony this morn. They seem to be settling into the new routine and enjoying the day at home today pottering and relaxing.
I've getting through a few books lately and spending less time browsing my beloved dutch blog community. Life is good :)
