The garden is so pretty this time of year, bright with colours and scents galore. I adore the sweet warm aroma of jasmine drifting through the house. An abundance of blooms, bees and glory. The spring time energy flows from inside to out as we potter around the yard, bringing bunches of flowers and herbs inside with us.

We are missing the chickens, and still feeling the loss of them. We plan to build a new solid coop and get some more chicks soon.

L&R came to visit today and we enjoyed a tasty lunch and catch up together. The rain held off for most of the day so we were able to venture into the yard. We had a fairly lazy laid back weekend, with a visit to Jo and the kids late saturday arvo capping off a cosy day at home.

It's been a busy week of playdates for the kids and I. Daylight savings begins today and Kinder returns tomorrow. Only one more term of Kinder for Lil's before she makes the journey to primary school next year. Sagey turns 3 in a couple of weeks, my the time has zoomed by.
