We took a spontaneous trip to Spotswood yesterday to have an adventure at Scienceworks. I can"t believe i've never been there, what a great museum. The kids had a ball, pushing all the buttons & levers, running through lights, & enjoying the special Wallace & Gromit exhibit. We were there for 3 hours, until bus loads of school kids arrived and the whole place became a little noisy for us to handle.

On our way back through town we popped in to visit Grandma & Grandpa in Port Melbs. We had a lovely visit and even stayed for a yummy dinner, Stell joined us after work too. Big big day, home around 8.30 pm after setting out around 10am. All exhausted and snuggled in bed.

Almost 3 weeks since the arrival of the bunk beds & Lily hasn't looked back. I'm having my own little holiday at night now, (after 4 years of going to bed around 8.30, or tiptoeing away to watch a movie or sew, only to be called back by Lily every half hour) I've read a whole book & am on to another. I have the lights on in my bedroom whenever I like, listen to music, embroider in bed, watch a movie....ahhh paradise!

One of the books I read The Happiness Project was incredibly thought provoking and uplifting. Well worth a read. The next book I'm almost through is bestseller The Hunger Games a three part trilogy. I don't usually read bestsellers, but this one is an absolute page turner. Actually that's it for the blogging must go and read :)
