Family night

high five for Santa

Lily, Sage & Santa
As soon as Stell arrived home from work tonight we all jumped in the car, drove to town picked up our order of fish'n'chips & ate our dinner picnic style in the warm sunshine at the park. We then went to a special Christmas storytime in the library where we sang songs & listened to a story. Back off to the park for a play before seeing Santa at the library. Sage preferred to give a high five & Lily was more than happy for a hug, although she had a few questions about the whereabouts of his sleigh & reindeer.

The advent calendar has been working so well, I made tags for each day leading up to christmas. The tags let the kids know what x-mas thing we will be doing each day. Things like, *go for a drive & see the x-mas lights * make an ornament  *go to carols by candle light *make x-mas cards * bake cookies * perform a random act of kindness *wish your neighbours a merry x-mas *pack you bags we're off to Tassie.... And many more. I had heaps of fun making the calendar and the kids really look forward to reading each one.        <8)
