The gang
We ventured to Ikea on Saturday (yes all four of us in 2 cars), to select a new dining table and chairs. We are very happy with our new extendable, seat 10 Bjursta birch table and gorgeous Linus rattan with steel leg high back chairs. Very comfy, understated and fresh. Sage is very happy with the new seating arrangement as he scored a new high chair that pulls right up to the table unlike his cumbersome fisher price model which takes up excessive space.
On Sunday we skyped the Bear family in New Zealand, it was lovely to touch base and see Greta's beautiful baby belly, very round and smooth. Not long now until the twins will be out in the world.
Mum & Phoenix visited us on Sunday for a lazy day at home, the kids played in the paddle pool and ran around outside, although it was very warm out. Stell mowed the mammoth lawn which now looks luscious and green after all the rain. I got bitten by an ant....again! Also managed a little more digging in the vege patch Lily and I are getting ready to plant new seedlings.
Sage chipped one of his top front teeth last thursday while standing in the bath, he slipped and knocked his tooth, no tears. It made me sad to see his little baby tooth, although it hasn't caused him any pain and Stell thinks it is not very noticeable. I am most happy that he will grow another one in 5 years or so.
Only a few weeks until Lily start Kindergarten, I am possibly looking forward to it more than her. New adventures.
