It was a bit of "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to" for Lily. I think she may have been a little overwhelmed by all the kids and activity, and spent alot of time clinging to my leg. The rest of the kids had a ball and went mad over the bumble bee pinata.
We were so lucky with the weather, the rain held of until everyone had gone home and the last chair was packed away. Then it bucketed down for 17 hours straight! Glorious. It was great to catch up with some friends, even if it was just moments of adult conversation.
