One cheeky fairy!
Can you believe a year and a bit has passed since we first moved into our little house in Upwey. We've experience every type of weather imaginable, and although our house sometimes feels like it will blow away in the wild winds out here, it feels like our home. Our renovations have come along slowly, and there is still so much more we want to do, but everything takes time...and the things we have achieved are great.
We've watched Lily grow from a bum shuffling baby into a bright, funny & happy little toddler. She is such a cheeky little thing with a great sense of humour and has a lovely sensitivity about her. Everyday she surprises me with her ability to concentrate, complete and enjoy so many things. I feel so lucky to have such a gorgeous daughter and beautiful little companion.
Oh how her world will changed when the new bubba arrives in 4-8wks. We have slowly been preparing her for the new arrival, with books about babies and gentle reminders not to jump on Mummies big tummy. Lily also accompanies me to my baby check up where she is able to hear the babies heart beating, which she seems fascinated by.
I feel mostly prepared for the new little guy, but will feel better when we get the new bedroom built and my nesting urges can be fulfilled. I am really am looking forward to setting up a cosy baby room for him.
Have been doing a bit of online shopping as it's getting more difficult to go out shopping with Lily now as she wants to walk herself, which can mean running and occasionally hiding or making herself invisible to me. I've bought the Ergo baby carrier and insert & am looking forward to it's delivery, I think it may well be very useful for new Bubba, leaving me hands free to still play with my girl.
Anyway that's all for now...

Lily looks amazing with the umbrella. That little bit of time she is older then Alvinia clearly shows. She looks so grown up in this pic.
A truly beautiful reflection of the year Simmone. What an achievement for all of you from East St Kilda to Upwey and now after the weekends work you have a 3 bedder!
Lily is so gorgeous, bright, healthy and definitely clever (I am not at all bias) you must be very proud of your parenting skills :-)
